How long does a grooming appointment usually take?
Most grooming appointments take between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and the style requested. We focus on quality and comfort rather than rushing.
Do I need to prepare my dog before the appointment?
No special preparation is needed. Just make sure your dog has had a toilet break beforehand and arrives on a lead. If there’s anything we should know about your dog, you can let us know when booking.
What breeds do you groom?
We specialise in poodles, cavoodles, oodles, and other small to medium companion breeds. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit for your dog, feel free to get in touch.
Can you groom nervous or anxious dogs?
Yes. We take a calm, patient approach and adjust each groom to suit the dog. If your dog is nervous or anxious, please let us know so we can allow extra time and make the experience as comfortable as possible.
How often should my dog be groomed?
For most poodle and oodle-type coats, we recommend grooming every 4–6 weeks. Regular grooming helps maintain coat health and prevents matting.
Do you accept first-time grooming clients?
Yes, we welcome first-time clients. If your dog is new to professional grooming or visiting us for the first time, we’ll take the time to get to know them and tailor the groom accordingly.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand plans can change. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a 50% fee, as appointments are often difficult to refill.
